Littles must be between 6 - 13 years old, live in Washtenaw County, and can benefit from having a caring, adult friend. Littles must be willing to have fun and learn new things! 

SIGN UP for an in-home orientation and interview. Here you will  learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters' community program, the rules and expectations. This will also allow you the opportunity to ask staff members questions. You and your child will also be interviewed to make sure that all involved in the match are in agreement. Both the parent/guardian and the child will be able to talk with a match specialist concerning preferences for a mentor.

MAKING THE MATCH Finding a match may take some time as our match specialists are going to do their best to accommodate the preferences of the parent/guardian, child and potential volunteer Big.

MATCH MEETING Once all have agreed, the Big and Little will meet and the friendship will begin!
