A Note from our Hosts, Drs. Louis Probst and Kate Klein
We hope you’ll join us on Sunday, September 10th as we host A Fall Evening with Big Brothers Big Sisters at our home, 280 Barton North Drive, Ann Arbor.
The power of a positive role model in a child’s life is transformative. We are honored to have the opportunity to invite you to our home to celebrate mentorship, and to support the critical fundraising efforts of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Washtenaw County.
Who among us hasn’t benefitted from positive mentors in our lives? A small gesture, an encouraging word or the opportunity to try something new can change perspective, indeed, the course of someone’s life. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps create these precious moments between Bigs and Littles and supports them every step of the way. Trust is established. Relationships are built. Hopes and dreams take root and Littles believe they can achieve! Children feel listened to and that their thoughts and interests matter. Focus is shifted away from limitation and replaced with aspiration.
At the heart of their mission, Big Brothers Big Sisters is committed to helping every child feel like they count and have a voice in the world. All this from just sharing some of your time.
So please mark your calendar for Sunday, September 10. We look forward to a special evening and hope to see you there.
