Individual Supporters

Individual supporters, like our corporate and foundation partners, play an integral role in our success at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County.  Through their investment we are able to keep reaching out to children who are facing adversity and providing them with much-needed adult role models.

The lessons we learn while growing up help to shape who we become as adults. If we are lucky we learn these lessons from our parents, guardians, adult role models, and teachers - someone we trust and rely on. But for some children they lack this support system and by reaching out for a Big Brother or Big Sister they find that special person they can trust and rely on to help them fulfill their hopes and dreams.
