"Hi _______, nice to see you!! Do you have a minute? I have something I want to run by you... I used to be a [Big/Little] in the BBBS program and it really made an impact on my life. I learned so much from the experience. I was thinking that you might have an interest in getting involved, and I know you would make a great Big to a kid on the waitlist. Would you be interested in learning more about the program? I'm happy to share my experience and also put you intouch with a BBBS staff member if you'd like to learn more. Thanks for considering!"
"Hey ______! It's been a while! Have I ever told you that I'm a volunteer Big at BBBS? My Little and I get together a couple times a month and have so much fun. There are a lot of the kids on the waiting list right now who could really use the support of a mentor and I was thinking who do I know that would make a great Big? And you came to mind right away! Would you be interested in learning more about the program? I'm happy to answer questions or put you in touch with a BBBS staff member, Thanks for considering!"
